Competitions
Dance Doctor instructors and students frequently compete in various dance categories, often winning first place. Competition training allows a student to work on their dance on a higher level. Students fine-tune their technique, learn how to perform, and gain an understanding of the dance they wouldn't otherwise get. The Dance Doctor Studio has participated in prestigious competitions such as the Ohio Star Ball, Southwest Regional, United States Dance Championships, Emerald Ball DanceSport Championships, the California Star Ball Competition, California Open, the Twin Cities Open, and the Desert Classic Dancesport Festival. The Dance Doctor Studio has won Top Studio at most of these competitions.
